I have been doing dream interpretations for over 20 years. I have grown spiritually, mentally, and emotionally thanks to my work in dream interpretation and would like to share this experience with others. It is possible to use dreams in this way, as they are meant to help us problem-solve issues in our lives- in our emotions, attitude, behavior, beliefs, relationships, work, direction in life, etc. Dreams are able to do this by providing direction and/or warning of events and people that one must face. They serve as an aid to the conscious mind in the growth and development of the individual- emotionally, mentally and spiritually. But even if your conscious mind does not utilize dreams, the subconscious will. It is more effective, though, if you do this process consciously, with intent. To be more aware of one’s personal issues is to be better prepared to deal with them in a positive and loving manner, thus enabling greater Soul development and growth towards God. I have found dream interpretation to be an excellent tool in helping me to face those issues and handle them in a more positive and loving manner.
Interpreting a dream is like interpreting another language. It is possible to understand dreams because they are merely a symbolic language through which the subconscious mind speaks to the conscious mind. You must view the dream in its entirety, and then break it down into its parts, to ascertain the meanings of symbols and how they connect to each other to deliver the message intended. I base my interpretations on spiritual values and the universal symbols that are the language of all dreams. I use several Dream Interpretation books which contain dream symbol dictionaries to help understand the meaning of the symbols. There are certainly more books out there, but always judge the book by its content. If a book is giving mainly superstitious meaning to its symbols, I would set it down and find another.
