My husband borrowed my red car to run an errand. In the meantime, I used his truck and ran an errand of my own. When we were both done, we needed to do an errand together. We climbed into my red car. Before my husband started, he told me that someone had hit my car. He wasn’t in the car when it happened, he just noticed it. He said it was on the passenger side. It was possible the damage was there before he drove the car and I didn’t notice. We stepped out of the car to look. I had to look hard at first, but then I noticed a wrinkle in the door right by the side mirror. And then I noticed another wrinkle below it. My car had definitely been damaged by another car. A student from my school happened to be walking by with his friends and saw it as well. He said, “Your car was definitely hit by someone.” I stepped back a little and noticed that my headlamp was damaged and there was more damage to the body around the headlamp. The headlamp wouldn’t work unless it was fixed. I wasn’t sure if we would report this to the insurance company as I just had my white car fixed the month before for something similar. If we didn’t get it fixed, then I needed my husband to fix the headlamp so that I could safely drive.

I apply my logic (my husband) to help me achieve my desires for myself (red car). In other areas of my life, I use my practical spiritual ideals (white truck) to accomplish other goals. When I am ready to again use my logic towards my desires (red car), I realize something outside of my control has caused harm (dents in red card) to my desires. They appear less attractive (damage to car) to me but I am still able to experience ideas or pathways (door) to help me achieve them or work towards them. But real damage has been done to my ability to more clearly see the great lessons, truths or knowledge (headlamp) that I can gain in regards to my desires. I need to use my logic (my husband) to fix it myself or determine if I need help (insurance) to fix this damage.
In other words, there are things I would like to do using my wit and logic, but I have become discouraged in my ability to accomplish these things . This is due to circumstances outside of my control. But it is possible for me to overcome this discouragement and still do the things I would like to do. I just need to be persistent and make the effort to more clearly see the lessons, truths or knowledge that I can gain as I work towards my desires.
