I was speaking to someone. They told me the town I attended school at as a teen-age girl had experienced a terrible fire. At least 80 percent of the town had been destroyed, including the school. I could see a picture of the town as if I were viewing it from the air. I could see the destruction. There was nothing left where the fire had been. I felt sad for the town as it had been a good place to be.
SIGNIFICANT SYMBOLS:
Town-one’s community, environment, or current situation. Depending on imagery, might be representative of group activities and teamwork (i.e. work) or the lack of it
School-associated with lessons and education provided by daily life.
Fire-that which overcomes, purifies or destroys. Associated with strong emotions. Could represent a burning issue. Could represent a consuming conditions in one’s experience environmentally, physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Burn-associated with extreme anger, frustration or irritation. That which is very important. To be mistreated or to get into trouble.
It is communicated to me (speaking) that in a current situation or community (town) there have been consuming conditions (fire) which have caused much destruction (most of the town being burned down). These consuming conditions stem from extreme anger or frustration or a burning issue which has not been contained (burn). This situation or community will have to basically be rebuilt (over 80% destroyed) if it wishes to continue to exist. I was once a part of this situation or community and learned many lessons and education (school) there. It saddens me to see it like this.
This could apply to any number of situations. But first, one must always apply a dream to oneself first and then the outer world second. Being said, this could apply to a way of thinking I once had and have graduated from (attended school but finished) and I am now seeing it as being “under fire” (burning) and being destroyed by others’ anger and/or a burning issue which hasn’t been adequately dealt with. This saddens me as this particular environment or community was a safe and helpful place to be. It can be rebuilt but it remains to be seen if it will be.
Then the dream could also literally apply to the town in which I attended school as a teen-age girl and be a prophetic dream of something terrible that will happen to it. I also think of the town in which I work as being just like the town I attended school at, so that the dream might apply to something happening within the town that I work at or even at my work itself. Again, a prophetic warning. Even though the trouble doesn’t seem to directly involve me, it could still effect me. This would explain why I would receive this information.
One must always apply a dream to oneself first and then the outer world second. The dream can also be applied to both situations, personal and the world, simultaneously. But always apply to oneself first.
